The mysterious meaning of the S M L & A symbols are as follows:
They are signs of Small Medium & Large files hiding beneath the undersores. If thou hast a high speed internet connection (DSL or Cable), thou mightest enjoy the quality of the Large file. And thou canst well afford the download time.
The Small files sacrifice a wee bit of audio integrity (I jest of course) but are still of a fair (if thou wilt regard "fair" as a relative term) listening quality. They are, unfortunately, probably the better choice for those still living in the dark ages of dial-up.
The Medium file is a good compromise and will likely be the file that will be chosen by most viewers, aye, perhaps listener is a better turn of phrase. It is, we found, most suitable for the "Reference and Subject" links. And must I remind you again, it is we, the enlightened ones, know best. Hahahaha!
Alas! The A is special. it's meaning is Archieved! - no longer here, gone from this place, kaput! (Rather I think I should say, "For all thou mere mortals know!")
However, I will reveal to only you (since you have read thus far) that they still lurk about in the deep dark recesses of the webmaster's mighty machine. If you really really want one of them, ask nicely.
